Angela Joiner-Handy won the first of her two bronze medals at the World Duathlon Champs on Friday in the standard distance. Saturday then saw Sophie Noon 1st in the 21k with Craig Marsh 1st & Sue Toppin 3rd (1st V40) in the High Terrain Events 13k Trail races. Karen Nash 1st along with Ken Sutor / Roy Harris 1st in the Nav 4 Pennine 39.

Then Sunday saw Angela Joiner-Handy winning her second bronze of the weekend in the Duathlon World Champs Sprint. Damian Hall 1st and clocked a course record at the Lakeland Trails 55k with Lorraine Slater 2nd female (1st v40) and 13th overall, also in the 55k. Claire Brown was also 2nd overall female at a very hot Bala standard triathlon.

And to finish it all off we had the pleasure of watching Kilian Jornet break the Bob Graham Round record by just over an hour – quite an unbelievable achievement.
