Eoin Lennon Glen Coe MarathonMountain Fueller Eoin Lennon set a new course record of 03:15 on the grueling course that has 1608m of ascent.

The course starts in the heart of Glencoe (30m above sea level) where you then turn west on the paths following the A82 through the stunning Glencoe past Loch Achtriochtan and in between two legendary hill ranges – to your left the Aonach Eagach Ridge and to your right the Three Sisters and Ossians Cave. This section climbs 330m over 13km.

On reaching Altnafeadh the route turns north and the incline steepens to climb The Devil’s Staircase up to a height of 548m followed by a descent back to sea level at Kinlochleven.

The 326m climb out of Kinlochleven can come as a surprise! The route undulates around the south west of the Mamores Mountains until you descend east into Glen Nevis.  The finish is at the Event Hub in Glen Nevis, under the shadow of the mighty Ben Nevis.
