Well that was a hell of a weekend for #TeamMountainFuel

Michael Jones won the Chester Ultra, 52 miles in a fantastic 7 hrs 30 mins

The weekend also saw the first of the English Fell Championship races at Long Mynd in Shropshire, a 11 mile race with 4500ft of ascent. #TeamMountainFuel’s Nichola Jackson came home as 2nd lady with Kirsty Hall finishing as 3rd W30 and in the mens open we had four in the top 20 with Chris Holdsworth was 5th, Mark Lamb 9th, Ben Mounsey 10th and James Appleton 16th. To top this off James and Mark contributed to the Keswick AC team win.

Sally Fawcett took the ladies win at the Eadale Skyline, not a bad recovery run after winning her place in the Howarth Hobble only weeks earlier!
